Faculty of Mathematics & Computer Sciences

Faculty of Economics was founded in 1983 by merging several leading schools and colleges in the fields of commerce, banking, and insurance. This faculty was established in the campus of the former Tehran College of Commerce. Over the years, Faculty of Economics has recruited many highly qualified faculty members and has successfully established itself as one of the most popular schools offering programs in economic sciences. Faculty of Economics is also home to Iranian Economic Research Center, one of the major academic research centers in the country.

In 2013, Faculty of Economics, Mathematical Sciences and Computer was split up into two discrete Faculties: Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Mathematical Sciences and Computer. These two Faculties, located in the same campus, have five departments offering undergraduate and postgraduate programs in various fields and majors on Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, and Computer Sciences.

The two Faculties have 68 academic staff and five Departments, and offer BA, MA, and PhD degree programs to 1200 students.
